wedi is the light weight, easy to cut, backer board for the tile and mosaic industries that is available at Eno's Design Center.
A reinforced, concrete coated, Styrofoam core backer material, wedi is sought after by anyone looking for a backing material that is easy to handle and can be cut with simple hand tools.
For the Tile Industry
wedi for the tile industry is available in several sizes and thicknesses. The wedi Fundo Shower Pan is a one step waterproofing system that offers a no risk, easy to install alternative. The wedi Fundo pan is composed of a closed cell extruded polystyrene foam, making it 100% waterproof. The pan is coated with a modified cement slurry and fiberglass mesh for strength and rigidity.
Prefabricated wedi shower pans help the installer to reduce the installation time of a shower base from 2-3 days to 30 minutes. All wedi shower substrate installations are tile ready the next morning. Pre-formed shower niches, benches and curbs are also available. All wedi products are available to you shipped common carrier. The light weight of wedi products helps keep shipping costs down.
For the Mosaic Industry
wedi for the mosaic industry is now available in the sizes mosaicists need. By far the lightest and easiest backing material available, you can purchase wedi in any size desired. Due to its light weight, wedi is economical to ship in the 24"x36" size or smaller. We also offer picture hanging kits and wall hanging kits to easily hang you completed mosaic.
